Importing contacts from a spreadsheet

If you already have a spreadsheet of customers, there's no need to retype them by hand. Flowdeal's importer recognises your columns and sorts the data into the right fields.

How the import works

  1. Open the Contacts module, then click the "Import" button.
  2. Upload your CSV or Excel file (make sure the first row is the column header).
  3. Map your columns to Flowdeal's fields (e.g. Name → Full name, Email → Email).
  4. Check the preview, then start the import.
Good to know

To avoid duplicates, Flowdeal matches existing contacts by email address.

Tips for a clean import

  • One column = one piece of data: keep first and last name separate where possible.
  • Double-check your date format (e.g. YYYY-MM-DD).
  • For a large list, import a small sample first as a test.
